About True Regenerative

We are a technical consultancy for regenerative agriculture and aquaculture, based in La Palma de Cervelló (Barcelona). We work alongside farmers and open the door to those who want to support them: sponsors, brands and retailers looking for a traceable origin.

Founder

Xavier Vélez Parera

Founder and director. Trained in aquaculture, with hands-on farm experience: biofactory, soil, water, animals and knowledge transfer. His promise: we make you independent, not dependent. From sea to farm, the same lens: microbiology, organic matter, minerals and the relationships between species.

Origins

Asociación de Agricultura Regenerativa Ibérica

Xavier started out on this path thanks to the Asociación de Agricultura Regenerativa Ibérica (a pioneering network in Iberia since ~2010/2012): training, gatherings and access to international references. A personal milestone: the first regenerative agriculture course in Iberia, at Can Comas (Barcelona, 2013).

Its website offers a map of regenerative farms (active producers in Iberia, by its own criteria) and a regenerative food finder to locate and compare products from those farms. It is the Association’s resource, independent of True Regenerative, and useful for consumers and anyone who wants to get to know the Iberian regenerative scene.

Teachers

International teachers

Influences along the way include Jairo Restrepo, Darren Doherty and Joel Salatin, with no commercial relationship with True Regenerative and no endorsement from them.

We collaborate with CoCo Sapiens. Thank you to everyone who places their trust in True Regenerative.

For physiological pruning of vines we work with Maxime Pourveur, trainer and technician at Architecte du Vivant: the texts and images of that work are his. See physiological pruning.
